Weld-Pipe White Thread Sealant
Paste Dichtung, Pipe Jointing Compound for Non-Potable Water Applications
WELD Pl PE® White conforms to BS 6956 Part s:1992 and is suitable for use with hot and cold water (non-potable), natural gas, and low-pressure steam systems up to 7 bar pressure and temperatures up to 200°C. It is a non-toxic jointing compound that is easy to apply and acts as a lubricant, allowing pipe threads to be screwed tightly for a secure joint.
For added joint strength, WELD Pl PE Hemp can be applied in conjunction with WELD Pl PE White, except on gas joints where reinforced fibre is recommended instead of hemp.
Instructions
- Stir well before use.
- Ensure all threads are clean and free from burrs, grease, cutting oils, and other contaminants before application.
- Use a spatula to apply WELD Pl PE White evenly over the male threads, ensuring complete coverage for a secure seal.
